Personal Training
The aim of A1 Fitness is to offer a quality service to
all clients.
Who is personal training for?
Everyone! From young to old. Personal training is a guaranteed
way to achieve your aims and could literally be life changing!
What is personal training?
A Personal Trainer (PT) is not a gym caddy who follows
you around the gym carrying your drinks bottle!!! A good
PT will be able to motivate you to achieve your goals by
tailoring an exercise programme to suit you.
What will be involved?
Well, firstly you will need to establish your aims. From
here the PT will carry out a consultation including a medical
screening form. You can then enrol on a programme of sessions.
What does a programme consist of?
Depends entirely on you and your aims. Lets take for example
a weight loss and shaping programme. You could book on a
10 session programme (see pricing options). The PT will
carryout the necessary pre-programme assessments (with client
agreement) which could include weight, blood pressure and
body circumference measurements. You will now have a 1 to
1 coached session once a week for 10 weeks. Your PT will
set you goals and give you exercises to carryout throughout
the week.
What other fitness assessments are available?
Again this depends upon the client’s aims/needs.
Fitness assessments can be created to suit the client but
can include: body fat percentage, treadmill walking tests,
strength tests and balance testing.
Where and when can I use a Personal Trainer?
Think about your availability and then discuss the options
with your PT. You can train in a gym, at home or outside.
The choice is yours.
